The Committee on Judicial Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to articles 66 and 71 of the Civil Code of Ukraine (re securing rights and interests of persons in trusteeship)

The bill (Reg. No. 3231) aims to reinforce guarantees of adherence to rights and interests of persons in trusteeship. In particular, it is suggested supplement part one of article 66 of the Civil Code, under which duties of a foster parent or a trustee, as well as personal responsibility for a legal person that is in the educational institution, health care center or social protection center should be put on the administrator of this institution if the abovementioned person has no foster parent or a trustee.
